Carr Fire

The Carr Fire was a large wildfire that burned in Shasta and Trinity Counties in Northern California. The fire burned 229,651 acres  before it was 100% contained on August 30, 2018. The Carr Fire destroyed at least 1,604 structures. becoming the seventh-most destructive fire in modern California history.  At its height, the fire engaged as many as 4,766 personnel from multiple agencies.

We were able to partner with multiple non-profit organizations (Bethel Church, Mercy Chefs and 4G Foundation), helping to support wildfire victims with meals, water and other essential supplies. Additionally, we were able to acquire local mobile kitchen storage through the end of wildfire season.

Lifeline Disaster Relief is a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides emergency relief worldwide and responding to disasters as they occur by providing food, shelter, supplies, building materials, and mobilizing volunteers and resources necessary for whatever the disaster requires.

Our scholarship is open to all current college students as well as prospective enrollees residing in California. We want to hear from you about a disaster you have faced in the past, whether natural or personal. LIFELINE DISASTER RELIEF believes in giving back to those that have been impacted by disasters. We want to see how discipline, perseverance, and education play a part in your recovery story.
